Is this course about setting up or managing Macs?
No. It's about supporting the people using them. You'll learn to recognise when an issue comes from a setting your organisation controls, and how to explain it, but not how to configure device management.
Does it cover Microsoft 365?
Yes. A full module covers Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint on the Mac, including the shortcuts that change, the features that are Windows-only, and apps such as Access and Power BI Desktop that have no Mac version.
Does it reflect UK keyboards?
Yes. It covers where symbols such as @, # and € sit on a UK Mac keyboard, and how to make an older PC keyboard type what's printed on its keys.
What about people who use both Windows and Mac?
It's covered. The course explains why users who move between the two may keep making small slips, and how to help them focus on the few actions they use most.
