Each module ends with a short quiz. Pass them all to complete the track.
Do I earn a badge?
Yes. You earn a badge when you complete the track, and it shows on your Academy profile.
Do I need Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace to follow along?
No. The principles apply to any sharing service. OneDrive, SharePoint and Google Drive are used as worked examples because they are what most organisations and clients use.
Is this course technical?
No. It explains encryption and link settings in plain terms and focuses on practical habits. No technical background is needed.
Does it cover UK GDPR?
It covers what UK GDPR means for everyday file sharing, including what counts as personal data and the 72-hour window for reporting a breach to the ICO. It is not legal advice, and your organisation's own procedures always come first.
Is it relevant if my organisation uses its own client portal?
Yes. Portals are covered as one of the sharing options, and the habits around checking files, recipients and access apply whichever tool you use.
