About 115 minutes, across 6 short modules. Go at your own pace and pick up where you left off.
How does it work?
Each module ends with a short quiz. Pass them all to complete the track.
Do I earn a badge?
Yes. You earn a badge when you complete the track, and it shows on your Academy profile.
Does it cover personal devices used for work?
Yes. It explains what IT can and cannot do on a personal device enrolled with User Enrollment, and how to guide the user through Find My while you protect the organisation's data and accounts.
Does it cover Mac as well as iPhone and iPad?
Yes. Mac works differently in several important ways, including Remote Lock with a PIN, FileVault and recovery key escrow, and why you must decide between locking and erasing a missing Mac before sending any command.
Do our devices need to be in Apple Business?
No, but it makes a big difference. The course shows what is possible at each level of management, and the identity actions, such as revoking sessions, that work whatever the device's setup.
Does it cover data protection reporting?
Yes. It explains the facts IT needs to give the organisation's data protection lead, and uses the UK ICO's 72-hour reporting expectation as an example.
